Event Proposal Specialist
PURPOSE
The Event Proposal Specialist brings event concepts to life by crafting creative, compelling, and technically sound proposals that respond directly to client needs and project goals. Acting as a creative thinker, project strategist, and internal coordinator, this role ensures that every proposal represents WOTN’s quality, creativity, and feasibility.
In the short term, the role focuses on developing customized proposals that win projects across different sectors. In the long term, it contributes to WOTN’s creative positioning and its ability to deliver exceptional experiences with innovative, high-impact concepts.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
-Proposal Development
Lead the preparation of tailored proposals for event projects.
Analyze project briefs and develop thoughtful, effective solutions.
Ensure proposals are clear, engaging, and technically sound.
Collaborate closely with creative, operations, and production teams to validate deliverability.
-Strategic Planning & Innovation
Research and design innovative event activations and audience experiences.
Leverage industry trends and emerging technologies in concept creation.
Review previous events to propose improvements and new ideas.
Brainstorm and propose solutions that elevate engagement and brand impact.
-Cross-Functional Coordination
Act as the main contact for proposal planning across departments.
Align the creative vision with operational feasibility and client expectations.
Ensure smooth handover from proposal phase to project execution.

Report to: Business Development Director

Communicate with clients during pre-sale stages if needed.
Work with vendors for technical inputs or costing related to proposed ideas.
PREREQUISITES
-Education & Training
Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business, or related field
-Experience
Minimum of 3 years in proposal development, project/account management, or similar roles in the event or creative industry
