Senior 3D Designer

PURPOSE

The Senior 3D Designer creates high-quality, innovative, and technically accurate 3D visualizations that transform event concepts into compelling experiences. Acting as both a creative innovator and technical expert, this role ensures designs are impactful, feasible, and aligned with client needs and WOTN’s standards 

In the short term, the role focuses on producing event-specific 3D designs that win projects and satisfy clients. In the long term, it contributes to building WOTN’s creative identity and delivering world-class event experiences

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

3D Concept Development

Develop 3D stage designs, event layouts, exhibition booths, and experiential spaces

Translate client briefs and creative directions into visually stunning outputs

Refine designs based on internal and client feedback

Creative Innovation

Stay updated with design trends, technologies, and materials

Integrate creativity with cultural relevance and brand identity

Propose innovative ideas to elevate audience engagement

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with 2D designers, animators, and operations teams to ensure execution accuracy

Collaborate with production and procurement for feasibility and cost considerations

Support proposal teams with compelling 3D visuals during pitches

INTERACTION

INTERNAL 

3D Art Director: Direct reporting line for creative direction, reviews, and alignment

on output quality 

Studio Team: Collaborate with 2D designers, finalized artists, and motion designers to ensure consistency across visual outputs 

EXTERNAL

Marketing Department (Proposal Team): Work closely with the proposal team to 

visualize event concepts for client presentations and bids 

Event Production Team (as needed): Ensure design feasibility and alignment with production plan

PREREQUISITES

Education & Training

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Fine Arts, or a related field-Experience

Minimum 3 years in 3D design, ideally in events, exhibitions, or creative industries

Skills & Competencies

-Advanced proficiency in 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, V-Ray, Maya, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite

Strong knowledge of spatial design, lighting, textures, and materials

Ability to balance creativity with technical feasibility

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality output

Flexibility to meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Experience in the Saudi Market is a plus
