Senior Sales Specialist

PURPOSE

The Senior Sales Specialist plays a key role in driving business growth by identifying, developing, and maintaining relationships with clients. The role focuses on generating new opportunities, managing high-value accounts, and ensuring that client needs are met through tailored solutions.

 

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve assigned sales targets.

Manage and expand relationships with existing clients to ensure long-term partnerships.

Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and commercial offers.

Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close profitable deals.

Conduct regular market analysis to stay updated on trends, competitors, and client needs.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery and client satisfaction.

Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and client interactions in the CRM system.

Support junior sales team members with guidance and knowledge sharing when needed.

Represent the company at events, exhibitions, and networking activities.

Provide monthly performance reports and pipeline updates to the Sales Manager.

 

INTERACTION

Internal: Collaborates closely with the Commercial, Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams to align client needs, pricing structures, and delivery timelines.

External: Engages with existing and potential clients, partners, and vendors to promote company offerings and secure new business opportunities.

PREREQUISITES

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.

7–9 years of experience in sales, preferably in events.

Proven track record of achieving or exceeding annual sales targets.

Experience handling key accounts and complex B2B deals.

Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. Odoo).

Strong understanding of market dynamics, pricing strategies, and client acquisition.

 

Skills & Competencies

Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Strategic thinking with a results-oriented mindset.

Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Customer-focused approach with strong relationship-building capabilities.

Confidence in handling high-value deals and complex client requirements.

Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.

Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced and competitive environment.

Mentorship skills to support less experienced team members.

1-Sales targets and revenue goals.
